Carol Hardesty

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Family Ties of Westchester Inc.'s website.  We are proud and privileged to be considered the ”voice” of parents with youngsters who have high-end needs in the Westchester County System of Care.

Throughout our over twenty-year history, Family Ties has provided community-based support services for families which do not disappear when a family leaves a program, school, treatment agency, residential facility, or a service connected with a child’s having been in the foster care system.  Our families are able to connect with professionals and with parent staff in culturally competent and community-based settings. Family Ties Resource Centers strive to ensure the safety and well-being of children in the community, including community ownership around children’s issues and lessening the stigma for the families involved.

We are pleased to be celebrating our 12th year anniversary as an independent parent support and advocacy organization.  If you are interested in making a donation or in volunteer opportunities, please contact our Development Office at

Please enjoy our website and thank you for your interest in and support of Family Ties.
