Positive Parenting Program — also know as “Triple P”

Positive Parenting Program (also referred to as Triple P) is an internationally-known, evidence-based parenting system which offers a variety of targeted courses that build on your strengths, increase your confidence, and provide practical tools to create strong, healthy, and positive family relationships. Classes in the Triple P program include:

Triple P Baby — Whether you’re expecting or already parenting a newborn, Triple P for Baby offers simple, proven strategies to support your baby’s development, strengthen your bond, and promote emotional and physical well-being. It’s a practical toolbox for navigating early parenting with confidence.

Triple P Group 0-12 & Triple P Group Teen — This program helps caregivers build routines, address problem behaviors and reduce parental stress — perfect for families who have completed Building Family Resilience and are ready for a deeper dive.

Triple P Pathways — If you have completed Triple P Group 0-12 or Triple P Teen and are still falling into parenting traps, this course will help you work out why you get angry or upset with your child, and help you think differently about how those situations occur. This course will give you positive tools to use when you get stressed with your kids.

Triple P Family Transitions — This group parenting program for divorced or separated parents gives you new ways to help protect your child — and yourself — from the fallout from a family split.

"My young child and I were living in a shelter while I was out of work. My caseworker suggested I sign up for Parenting Education classes. Family Ties’ classes helped me understand about trauma and learn how to respond to my child’s behaviors in a positive way. I feel less stressed and alone, and now I can focus on giving my kid a better life."
